lucozade print analysis

Lucozade print analysis
The advert I am analysing is a lucozade sport print advert. This advert is about a guy named Richie grey who plays for the Scotland rugby club, he looks like he is mid game and about to be tackled this is to show what sport he is playing and show how brutal and exhausting it is the conflict of this sport is its very energy draining but lucozade have the conclusion to this is the lucozade energy drink.
The camera shots used in this print ad is mid shot of the rugby player with a clear shot of th product.

Mise-en-scene (What colours, sets and props are used? Why?)
The scene is at a rugby field which is wet and raining whilst a guy is trying to tackle the main guy.

Target Audience – Who is the product for? The target audience is for people what play a lot of sports and the main audience  will be men aged 18-30.
Text-can you see any text?
Yes there is text on the ad the text reads “hydrates and fuels you better than water”

Advertising Techniques – What techniques are used and why?
The advertising techniques used are celebrity endorsment  and promise a benefit they do this by using Richie grey in the poster and the promise a benefit is done by saying the product will do something.
